Hi all

Well, here I am again with another problem with this ETS and would be grateful to anyone who can help,

I have had to buy a new computer and in trying to load the ets on to it I have come up against a problem.

I have loaded the old (i.43) disc on to it and thats fine. The problem is with the little disc that enables the drivers and allows you to use the comports.

It would seem that my new computer is not an XP model and none of the other options appear to work.

Heeeeeeellllllppppp.

Hi

Have you tried using a Windows Transfer Cable

Cheers

Transfer all you need to your new computer

The disc might not work if new computer is 64 bit

but you should be able to transfer it using a WTC

Good evening Homer,

- Really grateful for your help. Can you tell me what the Windows transfer looks like.....

Thank you

Hi

Cable has USB ends with transfer box in middle

you also get a disc for your sourse computer

Cost about £8 to £20 depending on length of cable

From xp or vista to w7/w8 32 or 64 bit

Hi Dave

The WTC HAS nothing to do with ETS

You said the ETS driver disc would not load

on your new computer but was installed on the old one

This cable ONLY transfers data from old computer to new one

EBAY HAVE HUNDREDS

Aaah - thanks Homer - regrettably, the reason I got a new computer was because the old one was KAPUT and I couldn't access any info on it.

- One less avenue to explore but thank you for trying anyway.

Best
