Rooster J. Cogburn Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 See to be honest, Stuart is in a slightly better bit for his section F than Del is in section D but Del is in an obviously better bit for open positions. I've said to my dad in the past whoever's next to win a national into Section D will be 1st and 2nd or Sec D will be 1st and 2nd. Only a theory and we will most likely have a very long wait to find out if it's true or not
Delboy Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 Aye Del, theres Lewis way west of yersel in sect D.Hes in a bad location lol
Rooster J. Cogburn Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 Aye Del, theres Lewis way west of yersel in sect D.Hes in a bad location lol Just got to live in hope Derek and try and make yer own luck. I always tell myself one day everything will fall into place for you and yer doos on a given race day. In saying that some of the greatest fanciers of all time have 'only' ever managed 2nd open flying into section D so it's a tall order indeed
dms5686 Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 The sect d guys have national racings version of wee man syndrome
Rooster J. Cogburn Posted March 31, 2013 Report Posted March 31, 2013 The sect d guys have national racings version of wee man syndrome Ye might be right there dms5686,a lot of fanciers in the section who start the racing with 50 or 60 doos and end up sending 1 or 2 to the Gold Cup looking to win a the national. The mind boggles Wouldn't say Jock Reid ,Robert Cormack,Davie Young,Tam Blair and John McNeill suffer fi this syndrome however and all of them have "only" managed 2nd Open-it's not easy to win a national here and as some say-Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live the world they have been given, rather than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It is an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It is a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing
