Guest H@wkBait Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 there is no information to be had there is no written standard for the uk show racer and never has been
showman Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 As stated there is, thank God, no written standard regarding the show racer. We all have set in our own mind of what we consider to be the ideal type, and that is one of the beauties of keeping the breed. Long may it continue !!
Guest geordiejen Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 i agree with you showman but unfortunately members of the npa have put in a proposal for a standard to be written for flying breed pigeons.this has now been proposed for the west of england tumbler and the roller pigeons.the proposal if it goes through will mean any bird without a written standard i.e the show racer cannot be put up for best in show.im not in favour of this change but if your a show racer man who shows at npa shows then the show racer cannot be put up for the winner.im trying to get in contact with the british show racer fed to see if a written standard can be put to the npa.cheers.
Guest geordiejen Posted March 15, 2013 Report Posted March 15, 2013 does anyone keep show racers on here?
