To me as an outsider, and a novice to the racing game, not to keeping pigeons i may add, this sums up our sport today, to much bitching, backstabbing, jealousy, and grumpy old geezers set in there ways, anybody wishing to join any club should be welcomed with open arms no matter what there reputation is, if he wins everything "SO WHAT" it should spur the rest to try and beat him, the bottom line is we all love pigeons and should always unite together........jmo Gavin

Spot on Gavin, well said. The irony about my recent knockback from a club is that most of the members that were there are all former Kirky members and I ran hand and foot to them all as their secretary.I helped every single one of them at some time and never received anything back. The ballot vote was 7 or 8 against, 1 for, so ironically again, I know everyone that voted against me.I cant believe it, the pathetic attitude in the pigeon game.

i thought it was SHU ruling that your nearest club had to accept you, and if they have recieved a lottery grant then more so...

I also thought if lottery grant had been received they must accept local members. Maybe worth contacting the Lotto too. They may change mind when Lotto want grant back
