TheHigg Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 any feedback welcome i am feeding an irish mix to my racers just now and noticed yesterday they had not eaten the tare and maple so i never gave them anything else i let them out today and they flew for a while when i shouted them in they all trapped well but again havent eaten i am not over worried just curious their droppings are fine and they have a constant supply of grit
budgie Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 They will be Fine they are loosing there Winter Fat and getting ready for mating up.Start halfing thier portions get them out everyday weather permiting.
OLDYELLOW Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 sounds like your over feeding cut the food down , there obviously picking out what they like and leaving the rest as you say droppings are fine , or it could be the maples and tares are poor in quality and past there best
Guest geordiejen Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 almost all my birds are not eating maple at this time.i dont bother just give them a little less each feed and it will be eaten in a day or two.
