Are you currently shaking your head wondering what is going on in the US financial markets? Here is a story that illustrates it nicely.

"Once upon a time, in a village, a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for £10 each.

The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them.

The man bought thousands at £10 and, as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He further announced that he would now buy at £20 for a monkey. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again.

Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer increased to £25 each, and the supply of monkeys became so small that it was an effort to even find a monkey, let alone catch it!

The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at £50! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on behalf of him.

In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers. "Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected. I will sell them to you at £35, and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for £50 each."

The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all the monkeys.

They never saw the man nor his assistant again, only monkeys everywhere!

Now you have a better understanding of how the stock market works."

Also remember that in them circles the man probably was in cahoots and just wanted away from the scam ... and took a holiday while he was at it ... no pun intended lol

Have a lovely day

Its amazing to me , maybe even frightening,  that so called intelligent, educated and responsible people have put the whole world economy in such a dreadful state. I'm glad I dont have money in shares, I've never ever had that sort of money - maybe just as well.

What I just dont quite understand is: all the buildings are there, all the people, cars, businesses, cities, towns and farms, institutions... you name its still 'there' all that's changing is figures on a hard disk, a computer monitor... what a f'n crazy greedy world. There must be a better system than this... what's real anymore? Good friends, good beer, good music and of course - good Doos.

Cheers from the far north,

Kenny

Simplely put, Investor / Money boys have over indulged with their greed. They took the course of deliberately letting 'Poor Investors' have money. Same a mortgage. knowing full well that sooner than later, a little bit down the line they would be evicted. Then they's have the property back and resell at a great profit. Thatcher springs to mind of course when she did the same. But even more evil than that was that she passed a law just prior, that meant that if you lost your house / home, had it reprocess etc. you WAS still libel for the interest. That was in fact a lot more than the house was wortyh or course. So 2/3 years down the line, evicted people, as soon as they got back on their' feet a little,  just getting over the distressful, and traumatic time etc. were hammered for the interest still owing! Only way out is filing for bankcruptsy.

can u explain how in to win races as easy as that lol

good post

Well simplely good feed, fresh air and water. THEN instill from young a sense of Safety and a love of their home. All aspects are rolled up into one nesat little ball for Form. That is Healthy, Condition and love of home.

That means that any incentive / motivation is already within theses attributes.

Two most important things to gain Health and condition is simple. Clear air ways and Clean Blood. All to do with oxygen. Fresh air and inners tubes etc. that is health sorted. Love of home, contentment, a sense of wanting to be back there when away. Simple tha... doing it, well ...

And a lot of the blame now lays at Thatchers door, and quite rightly so.

With her constantly  pushing Privatisation, and removing, and / or lesssening 'Watch Dogs, and 'Bodies that the investors, etc. were governed by, she effectively gave them and her a freedom to do as they like with no restrictions or accountability.
