60- 65 miles or thereabouts from Broxburn to Ayrshire at 40mph it's going to be an hour and half - don't think they would be any closer to the East birds today than that...

there is two theories that i have, one i believe there is a magnetic field that runs from tyndrum down through Broxburn there all the way down to the loch side of Abington, at the caravan park there is no way pigeons should reach there and 1 1/2 hours latter arive 25 mile away from it, the second is there is a radar jammer about there or some thing that gives of a pulse i once went to a fanciers loft out that way and he had is whole loft threaded out with fine copper wire. loads of times wraped arround this loft

that's some going mate, the plane done you a turn then, from that result it will give you great confidence on they birds as yearlings
