Bonnyrigg- Eleven birds belonging to members of Bonnyrigg District Flying Club took part in a race from Cambridge on Saturday . The pigeons were liberated early in the morning in fine weather . A bird owned by E Murray' High street Bonnyrigg;was first home . TIME 10hrs 24mins 53secs. The distance was about 300mls

thats a long time ago and a fair hall to get the birds down . good to see after all the years bonnyrigg club is still going strong .as their member J Blackhurst proves it by winning the fed gold cup .
