Even old red nose has just admitted how fortunate they have been this season. WE , IT MAY SEEM CAN ONLY BEAT THE CREAM. HENCE THE REASON, THAT THE SIXTH CHAMPIONS CUP IS MERSEYSIDE BOUND. I dont think Steven Gerard will ever win it as a player, not with Liverpool anyways and Torres will eventually get fed up of playing for also rans and go to a proper team that is winning now and not living on the back of wins from the70's/ 80's. proper team?.......liverpool have beaten man utd/beaten chelsea twice and drew with arsenal.....i think that would be considered a proper team..and beaten real madrid . with all liverpools problems off the field and on they still at this time of year 3rd in the league..theres a lot more holding them up there then pushing them down!

just ask me Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 well all id say is id rather watch utd than Liverpool the way Liverpool play football is brutal the left and right back hardly pass the midway line and with all good teams to watch today the left and right are nearly wingers they don't pass the ball with any imagination apart from gerrard of course i think it says all when u have a manger who sells finnan and rise to but areolba who is such a dull player what i like to look at is how many players would play in the other teams in the top 4 u look and gerrard and tores of course apart from that dont think many more where chelsea essien lampard drogba Cole terry that just 4 could name 1 or two more utd ronaldo Rooney evra vidic just 4 could probably name more too arsenal are not as good this year i think with one or two signings and a few less injuries they can come again but still that big forward cant spell his name van persie has skill too fabgergas too with villa well i think the biggest gem that they have is there manger what he can do with i would call a above average team with one or two good players what a manger i think what im trying to say is liverpool will win football matches no doubt but the the English league is known as the most exciting league in the world (and at this moment the best) but what if all teams played the same way as Liverpool who without doubt had a tradition of great teams who passed the ball could we say this if every if every manger of every team had the same thoughts as the Liverpool manger yes football about wining matches no doubt but as a football fan i want to be exacted Gerard exites me Torres does but the way Liverpool play im afraid not i think utd has shown this year and others that u can play football attacking football with style and while they still have the best defence in the league so u don't need to put 10 players behind the ball chelsea showed us that too a few years back with drobga robben and duff which were exciting to watch arsenal are arsenal they will always plat football the way its suppose to played all im trying to is utd excite me to watch arsenal excite me to watch chelsea do and i think will finish 2nd do Liverpool well to be honest id watch highlights just to see what gerrard and Torres has done apart from well really paint drying comes to mind
