Introduction

Hello to all members of the Pigeonbasics forum. My name is Phil and I fly in partnership with my wife Lesley, who is the real brains and calming influence of us both. We have kept pigeons on and off for the last 30+ years having had enforced breaks due to work commitments. First introductions to the support were through work colleague and friend at the time Pete Beadle of Barton on Humber. This was followed by mentoring and friedship by the successful partnership of Frank & Ann Tasker of Wainfleet. At ths time we were flying in the well run and organized Alford RPC and the NRCC. Having then had a few years living abroad (work commitments again) we are now back, retired and settled in Scotland flying against strong competition in the North East of Scotland Peterhead and District club. We are at present still building our team of birds the basis of which came from Frank Tasker before he unfortunately passed away and Geoff Kirkland. We thank you for allowing us membership of the forum and access to a great looking and informative web site. We wish all members success and hope that pigeon racing in general flourishes in the UK.
