Near Miss

Let my youngsters out at 5:35 this morning and for the first time ever, Percy went through em. Didn't make a contact or kill, just frightened the daylights out of them. They rose in the sky virtually out of site as high it seemed as an Aeroplane and cleared across the channel. Never having such a thing happen before I didn't know what to expect. After 1hr 50mins I was looking out of my extension window and picked up a group of pigeons coming home. They folded at about fifty yards from the loft and trapped in seconds all 35 of them. I don't drink but if there had been any to hand, who knows?
