Whitepied Posted July 21, 2012 Author Report Posted July 21, 2012 It sounds a popular book just scrolled through very interesting it's quite a pricey book on web sites is this right?
showman Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 There are a few out of print books which have become quite the collectors item in a very short space of time. I recently saw Alf Bakers book change hands for £65.00, and some weeks previously a copy of the Van Hee book was the guts of £100. Last year Dave Allens' The Widowhood year was selling for £30 - £50......this year you can choose from quite a few copies for £15.00. Prices will fluctuate, but if one of these 'rarer' books comes to the open market, it's end price can be a bit of a shock, but if people are prepared to give big money.........make hay while the sun shines !!
just ask me Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 van salens books very rarely go for less than £150 on e bay and regularly go for well over £200
