hi im looking to install a security camera to go into my garden to watch my pigeon loft.i dont have a clue what i need or what is required to get the correct one i need.been on ebay and its a minefield with technical jargon.

Maplins have some good deals on CCTV kits, we got a 4 cam set which gives excellent pictures, save recordings for 50days and we can watch remotely via our smart phones etc.

Have a look at CCTV direct website who will sell top quality stuff to the public and will give you great advice as well.

geo just looked at macro,s (hillington) latest monthly mag ,it has a cammera set £189.99 + vat 4 cammeras smartphone thingy records for 120 days onto a 500 gb hard drive ,its even longer with motion sensor detection ,great buy i think.

Have a look at CCTV direct website who will sell top quality stuff to the public and will give you great advice as well.

 

 

Have just used wired cammera's but wireless are available.

Very easy to install and set up.

Always prompt service and will sell better equipment at quite reasonable prices

 

There are loads of diffo cameras for day/night use and anybody with a wired system should look at the twilight series of cameras as they are very well priced and give excellent results

Make sure the night rateing is zero and you get perfect pictures in the dark

Ye but the images that some cameras produce to others can be misleading although all with zero lux rating!

 

But if you get something that works then yer laughing!!!! No need for footcandles charts I know :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:
