They're clearly not racers though. They are Picas (Deportivo). A type of spanish cropper.

I saw them when I was in Alacanti I was fascinated by them and how they worked them

 

I did find a supplier for the (spray) and sent for some not tried it yet but shall some day wonder what the club members will think
