i am weeks behind schedule (due to my health) ,better now.didnt get in as much training as i wanted. had 2 tosses ,1 at 4 mile and 1 at 10 mile (diffrent direction) sent 3 to the first race and each took a card ,so not too bad. :emoticon-0138-thinking:

Weather wasn't great, so picked my days and birds I wanted to train. Ended up with 3 cocks and 6 hens - given 3 trainers.

Have never tried this one before, my hens were exercising well around the loft so felt majority were ready to go into first race without training. Sent 3 cocks (trained) and 18 hens (5 trained, 13 untrained) to Coldstream, 65 miles on Saturday 21st.

My first home was a trained, previously paired hen, doing 1038, my second was an untrained spare hen doing 1016 (club winner 1091) and they were 6th & 8th club.

I'd 14/21 at clock meeting (2 hours after timed my 1st pigeon) and 20/21 when I came home from it. I've had nothing since, the missing bird is one of the trained cocks.
