i am weeks behind schedule (due to my health) ,better now.didnt get in as much training as i wanted. had 2 tosses ,1 at 4 mile and 1 at 10 mile (diffrent direction) sent 3 to the first race and each took a card ,so not too bad.

well behind can only train when come in from work and the rain and weather has taken its toll on this

Weather wasn't great, so picked my days and birds I wanted to train. Ended up with 3 cocks and 6 hens - given 3 trainers.

 

Have never tried this one before, my hens were exercising well around the loft so felt majority were ready to go into first race without training. Sent 3 cocks (trained) and 18 hens (5 trained, 13 untrained) to Coldstream, 65 miles on Saturday 21st.

 

My first home was a trained, previously paired hen, doing 1038, my second was an untrained spare hen doing 1016 (club winner 1091) and they were 6th & 8th club.

 

I'd 14/21 at clock meeting (2 hours after timed my 1st pigeon) and 20/21 when I came home from it. I've had nothing since, the missing bird is one of the trained cocks.
