Pipa mainly foreign site with very few UK on it how is that going to help as for the petition to be valid they'd have to live in the UK as it's our law that needs changing so there votes wouldn't count ???????? :emoticon-0126-nerd: :emoticon-0126-nerd: :emoticon-0126-nerd: :emoticon-0126-nerd:

Would be great if we could get support from our European brothers after all we are all in the EC and some support sent to Brussels may also help our case

where are the petitions going to, ?????

It is the most publicised auction site in the world, how can it not help.

It will give our campaign, more exposure and credibility than any other campaign has ever had.Thousands of UK Fanciers go on that site, me included.

This campaign is now, beginning to go somewhere.

Why not look at the positives, instead of the negatives.

We need to get the pigeon world to be seen supporting this.

We are fighting against a very large organisation, we need powerful allies. I for one am much grateful for their support, it's a pity some UK high profile companies don't get behind us.

This is a turning point for us and now the tide is turning in our favour.

I'm no stranger to this kind of thing, I have helped do similar things in the past, obviously not on this scale. But our opponent was the local government. A little woodland where I used to play as young boy, was going to get flattened and redeveloped for houses.

We were told, our protest didn't matter, it was a forgone conclusion and the land had been sold. We kicked up such a fuss, not many at first would join in because they said, the local Government was too powerful and we were just little people in their eyes.

I said well lets be a little thorn and stick right in their ass.

We protested for a year, we spent six months on our hands and knees in that wood looking for ways to stop the building.

people from all over the country joined in the fight.

Even people from opposite sides of the area who had feuded for years forgot their differences.

We found red bellied newts, rare fungi and plants.

The Woodland trust became involved.

A year later, they built all around the parameter of that wood and made a new pond for the newts.

Never under estimate, how powerful a hundred thousand voices can be.

We can make a difference.

Very good points,With so called government cutbacks they closed down a lot of little schools in our area these past few years, one small village school only a few miles from here ,the parents said no way are you closing this down they protested non stop help candlelight marches through the village with the kids at midnight got the media involved, outcome they demolished the school and have just completed the building of a new multi million pound school on the old site and ensuring an education for the village for years to come,I asked a high ranking official of the education department whom i new why some were closed and this was not ,Simple they replied THEY PUT UP A FIGHT .Well done to pipa for coming on board ,shame large organisations and governing bodies have not been as quick at coming forward ,you should put a list up of all that you have asked and let everyone see who is supporting our case and who is not.
