Hello,

I have asked this on another forum, but has anyone tried the new medication which is 1 pill and is meant to cure canker, worms and coccidiosis? If so does it work? I heard of it for the first time at the Blackpool Show, so don't know how long it has been out?

dont believe in blanket cures it may do the job but i would have too look at my lofts and the way i keep my birds if i had to treat for all 3 at the one time

treat for what you have mate dont just put meds into them for the sake of doing it Ad Schaerlaeckens put up a very good article recently on his site on the use of meds and the effect on birds etc on his website hes a great believer like myself in the use of cider vingear garlic etc to keep things like cocci and canker at bay its well worth 10 mins of anyone time to have a read of his site

Quite agree with ya also natural live yoghurt on a regular bases , most challenges are related to digestion or an imbalance in the gut , look after the gut and the good bacteria and they'll be a lot healthier long term :)

Why can't you just answer the guys question instead of big stories about you should do this you shouldn't be doing that he asked if the pills were any good are they yes or no

Haven't used them so can't help you there......

As wrote Yes I have used TKK in the past but I wouldn't recommend it I only used it as a quick fix pre breeding , why treat birds for ailments they don't have :) no big stories just facts from experience :)

Answers and entertainment cheers guys. The ones I have been pointed to on the other forum are harkers, but I will check out TKK too. Both seem like they do work, but I imagine that was a given really as I suppose they have to be rigorously tested. I will try yoghurt and garlic (and let my birds) and see...
