RANGERS face a double financial whammy today when they release their year end figures and discover their fate from UEFA.

 

The SPL champions will announce their financial results this morning and are expected to reveal debt to the end of June 2009 of at least £30million.

 

A few hours later they could find themselves a further £2.5m out of pocket if UEFA demand an Ibrox shutdown after last week's ugly scenes of crowd disorder in Romania when a hardcore minority battled with stewards.

 

Rangers could even find themselves this afternoon at the mercy of the Irishman who once saved Celtic Park from Champions League closure.
