I'd say it depends on what the birds that have paired have done to be honest :)

They havent raced yet m8 not long started up

I'd take a pair of yb's from them, race them, if they do nout, then i wouldn't let them pair again, just my opinion :)

To be fair mate as your just starting like myself and have untested birds you could breed strain to strain and get donkeys you could cross and get donkeys it's trial and error breed them and then find out what you have end of season trial and error

perfect something should come from them, kirkpatricks are far to inbred rolands arnt probably a good cross anyway iam tryin the cross of jan ardens / into the kirkpatricks and it should work, time will tell if your kirkpatricks are from louella ther inbred you can be sure of that and if you keep them pure they will go down like snow of a ditch, but i think kirkpatrick/roland would make a good cross i cant see why not. i used to hunt dogs and when i wanted speed into them i crossed a greyhound into them and when i wanted just stamina i crossed working collie into them i worked with the lurcher dogs at one time but not now so good luck with your cross and let us know how it goes.
