Training and jumping into national races.

I was wondering if any fanciers in Scotland train their old birds really well and jump them into national races due to time constraints or whatever. A few fanciers in England do not race in clubs, just specialist and national clubs. Thanks.

Fanciers usually train with clubs just not members of clubs , so they in effect send them as trainers but aren't able to win club prizes ;)
