I have an old black cock 1995, I think could be rated as a champion. He won prizes from Kelso, Newcastle,Appleby, Charnock Richards, Ripon,Cheltenham, Uttoxeter, Salisbury, Leicester, Frome ( won section F by an hour ) Lille, Messac, Sartilly. He flew channel 7 times and was in both SNFC Gold cup disasters 1997 ( just missed result,only 21 in race time ) & 2000. I just mentioned race points he won from but sometimes he won from these more than once. He is also responsible for many club, fed and SNFC diploma winners. Very few people recognised how good a pigeon he was, but in my loft,  my best racing cock ever. His name ' WATERSIDE BLACKIE '

Got a y/b off him myself when i purchased 4 l/b's off Delboy a couple of years ago and she was a cracker but got out by me as a yearling never to be seen or heard of again :'( :'( :'( :'(
