andy Burgess Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 What a strange thread, why would you want to attract birds to catch, what happens then?thought you may have had an explanation by now Bill . once caught "hant" it or settle it to your "hut" all part of the sport up here of "big doo,s" or theif pouters . they really are a sight to behold whilst flying and working .
geordie1234 Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Yip andy either hant it or sell.it or what i was part of was about 10 guys from different areas wee all swapped what we caught and hanted it. Dont get politics in this game just a black eye or your doocot burnt doon lol

geordie1234 Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Sure is but i believe a doo needs skelped in the hood so it knows not to get caught again so sadly if yer spend a year or so breeding a doo and get.it going once it gets its first skelp it disny belong to ye anymore lol
Guest Geo Posted February 26, 2012 Report Posted February 26, 2012 i have nearly finished a hood from cratch also got a wee 6x4 shed i added a set of boxes and a window for now, i will be making the board and hood removable using shop shelf brakets this is so its kept kida stealthy
