DUE TO MY WIFE,S ILLNESS WE HAVE TO MOVE INTO A BUNGALOW,IT,S A LOVELY PLACE BUT THE LAND LORDS (WHERRY HOUSING ASS) HAVE TOLD ME THAT I CANT KEEP

PIGEON,S, IS THERE ANY MEMBERS ON HERE WHO LIVE IN A PROPERTY OWNED BY WHERRY HOUSING ASS,WHO COULD ADVISE ME

Posted

I'm not in a Wherry home, but Wherry have published on-line 2 leaflets (attached) which show (1) that they recognise their tenants may want to keep pigeons on their properties, and they have a procedure in place for establishing whether the property is suitable for keeping pigeons.

They also have (2) a complaints procedure which could be used as a way of appealing this decision, assuming they have told you why they think it isn't suitable for keeping pigeons on that property.

Have you given them a plan of the loft, sizes, colour & location and how many pigeons you want to keep there? And what do your neighbours think of you keeping pigeons there?
