what is going on here it looks like he pulled a bird down out of the sky that was tied by his feet or something

 

i think its a lure of some kind is it real or fake i just dont know

think he had bird tied with nylon cord kite string probably around its ring hence open field no trees to tangle in

Could see another bird up in first clip if you run through the next two clips, Percy is feeding on the ground and it doesn't look like a catch

i know im just thinking do they have a bird tied up to be a lure i tought the falcon was in the sky while the bird tied up was being pulled down

i very much doubt if there was a live bird ive never herd of it being used its useualy a lure that the falcon already recognises so it will go straight for it

the kite teaches the falcon to look up as soon as the hood is took off this is training the bird to take flying prey from the fist

and the vid of the bird eating looks like a chick

 

 

so basically incase no one knows

 

there's a lure tied to a kite which is sent up then the bird is unhooded directed to the kite and goes up and takes the lure

falconers use a creance during training,but this is only to get the bird to come to you a hundred yards before you let the bird fly free.the bird dose not know it has lost the creance and will respond to you.havent got a clue what this guy is doing he might be trying to lure a falcon he has lost.but anyone what tethers any bird in tha way wants his b******s removed with my rusty shears.
