Earlier this week I had a pigeon reported by a non fancier in Barnoldswick and collected for me by one of the site members Leroy to whom I am very grateful, just had another reported today, again by a non fancier in Stockport hopefully getting it sorted and put in the care of a fancier till I can get a courier sorted to collect both.

Have you had many reported by non fanciers this season.

I have not had any reported by non fanciers, but I have had 2 birds brought to my door by non fanciers, and I was able to get these birds back to their owners.,

Exceptionally busy year for me: 1 of mine was reported in Durham by a non fancier, which I collected; 2 of my neighbours each had 1 in their garden and asked for my help to get them home, which I did; and a 3rd neighbour had what turned out to be a fledgling woody, beaten up by a crow. A bit of TLC, a drink, some wheat and a box with shavings, and he was quite happy to take it home and have SSPCA collect it.

Had one reported and cared for by a non lady fancier who went to great lengths to have it safely returned ,sadly when the delivery firm dropped it of it was dead, rang and thanked her but could not tell her it had died .
