If Gas / Electric etc. was still belonging to the Public – Still waiting for my cheque from the sold called sale off (Given to friends in reality) Would the price hikes and cons been as high, or would the politician, quite rightly, been too frightened to such rip offs?

I work for British gas so have been getting some education on these hikes so to say

 

If British gas was allowed to sell fuel at the price it cost Centica(parent company)to get the fuel fuel prices would be 45% of what they are just now but some daft goverment rule stops BG doing so believe its something to do with the monopoly aggreement so BG is forced to pay Centica the same price we sell it to any other company therefor BG has massive profits through goverment red tape

 

Also BG has offered energy customers free loft insulation that covers the price of the price hike in reduced energy usage

 

Bearing on mind I may have been brain washed as a bg employee :emoticon-0136-giggle:
