My birds for whatever reason sit down the road in someones garden!

Walking past the other day to see a pigeon on there hedge not moving, so i walked in, looked and it was my racer!!!

Looked as if it has been shot!! (*expletive removed*!!!!! Excuse my language!)

And also same day my Indian Fantail did not return, suggesting the same has happened or they have captured it!!

(also in past had a white fantail and german helmet go missing)

What are the laws on something like this and what can i do to stop my birds from landing down there???

Suggestions would be very very helpful!

Thanks guys, looking forward to hearing from you!

Iwould imagine that discharging a firearm in a built up area would be a criminal offence.

Keep your birds hungry and on a nest

BHW covered shooting of pigeons some years ago. I think there were 2 laws that applied, both relating to property (the birds are your property). I think they were damage, and theft.

Dont understand what you wrote IB, but basiclly if my birds are on his property, more than likely pooin on everything! Does he have the right to kill the birds?

Is there anything on the internet i can print off and put through a few peoples letter boxes down my road? Stating that this is against the law.

They are your property and he hasn't any right to harm / kill them. According to British Homing World article you can sue for damage to property, and theft of property.
