Leeds Stray 833293?

This white/grey bird with red and purple rings appeared in the garden yesterday. It could fly but seemed hungry and ate wild bird seed on the lawn. Could not get near enough to read its ring numbers properly. It stayed around all day until mid pm when it disappeared.I found a white feather on the lawn with the telephone dialling code 0113 so it is a local bird (Leeds). Anyway it is back again this morning. It is nervous if you try and approach even crawling slowly on the lawn and flies away to the roof so there is no way I could possibly get hold of this. It looks like a young bird but what do I know as I just feed the wild birds and am quite nervous of anything with feathers. I would not like it to be lost as we have quite a few agressive woodpigeons and ferals in the garden. You can phone me on 07710 298 877 if you think you have lost this bird.

would really need the full ring number and captured maybe there is someone local who could help you catch it

The purple ring number starts with 78 and looks as though it ends with SX. Does this mean anything please?

there might be a local pigeon fancier may be able to catch it :emoticon-0138-thinking:
