i use malt vinegar in birds bath and in a spray if i buy a bird with lice on it i spray it for a couple o days i keep rollers my dad keeps racers norrie smith both our birds r lice free all year round 17 pence a bottle n asda

moxidectin will slow red mite down considerably..1tsp in 2 litres drink.. also a handy tool is raid fly spray ..blue can..use as the old delycit spray..on back and from behind shielding birds head wiith your hand..also vent area slight spray .... :rolleyes:
