Guest kslicker Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 I noticed some maize on two occasions in the carrier I use for training tosses. I assume the birds threw it up. Please tell me this is just the motion of the car!!!!

Guest IB Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 Yep, just talking about that tonight, travel sickness. Make sure they aren't fed, or fed too much, before you set off.
just ask me Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 yep should be trained with no feed feed a little less or change time of feeding or training
Guest kslicker Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 They are fed at 10 in the morning and it is half 5 in the evening when they are in the basket. Should the food not be digested by then?

OLDYELLOW Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 how much u feeding they should not be trowing up grub at that stage will be if been over fed or food left after fed

Guest strapper Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 They are fed at 10 in the morning and it is half 5 in the evening when they are in the basket. Should the food not be digested by then? they should not be throwing up if fed that many hours before training,is the food put down in the feeder then left there ...are you putting too much corn in there and some eaten a few hours later.
just ask me Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 do you mind me asking what type of corn your feeding
Guest kslicker Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 They seem to clear the morning feed quiet quick because it is less then they would like to eat. The corn is Sport Red by Paloma. It's got most grain and seed but generally its composition is mostly larger seeds
kirky Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 just feed half food in a morning and half after training.
