OLDYELLOW Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 are these in an aviary Gary ??? or out of a red ???? doesn't look that he's nighted out or missed a meal
blaz Posted June 23, 2011 Author Report Posted June 23, 2011 are these in an aviary Gary ??? or out of a red ???? doesn't look that he's nighted out or missed a meal I timed him from last 2 inland nats bid improvement from one to the other . their is not much more for him to be 100% fit. he has not missed a meal if he did it would be double on return.all my birds fly FREE each day no birds are kept in that would cause stress

BLACK W F Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 LOOKING AT HIS WING I WOULD SAY HE IS GETTIN PAST HIS BEST FOR THIS YEAR HE LOOKS IN GREAT CONDITION JUST HE HAS CAST 3 FLIGHTS NOT MANY SCORE AFTER THAT IF HE HAD ONLY CAST HIS SECOUND AND IT WAS QUATER TO HALF UP I THINK HE WOULD BE SPOT ON I WOULD KEEP HIM FOR NEXT SEASON BUT PAIR HIM LATER THAN THIS YEAR TO HOLD THE WING NOT WORTH CHANCING A GOOD DOO JMO
dal2 Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 his flights look bleached by the sun that's all but if on open hole that be why locked up birds aren't stressed , as long as have a routeen exercise and feeding times birds rest better when loft has a set regime imo I get loads of these markings in my family of Kirkpatricks most noticeable in the Blues. No much wrong way any wiing you show there IMO! I take it yer a natural flier?

I take it yer a natural flier? the creamy flights usually caused by a red in parents , on the blues and chequers you also get like a grizzling effect , which appears in grizzle familys when grizzle throw full colours or paired to a full colour bird thats Blaz's bird obviously natural by the casting , a widowhood bird will hold there wing much longer
Guest stb- Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 wings fine and just keep giving it a few trainers to stop it dropping its 4th ,, anywhere up to 4th flight is fine bye me but on the 5th the body moult will kick in and the birds will go soft ie out condition , you should get ypres nd clermont oot that one

blaz Posted June 23, 2011 Author Report Posted June 23, 2011 thanks for the input now i have to decide :emoticon-0138-thinking:
