Fly_caster Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 Walked out to the loft late yesterday afternoon to find a late returnee from a 20 mile toss the day before........ Couldn't be sure what was wrong until I got a bit closer........... She trapped after a few minutes when I could get a better look.......... She went straight to her box, after which I gave her a drink, when she returned to her box to rest.... Looks bad, crop is punctured, neck torn, wing mangled (feather damage mostly) and generally well shook-up! Will let her rest until morning and then attempt to do what I can for her. Some pigeon to get back after all of that damage !

big blue bar Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 if her crop is puntured you would better get it stitched as fast as you can before it starts to heal
