Roland Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Can't say the Welsh have much chance....Yet they have come back twice strongly in second half. Don't think the Irish will allow that though. But then they are playing for the place next season. Think at least 6 - 7 won't be in the squad next season .... But then where are the replacements ... or improvements :-/ Think WALES will lose by 16 - 20 ponts at least.
Gail J Posted March 13, 2010 Author Report Posted March 13, 2010 well their 3 points in front roland, early days yet

Games for the boys in Wales, always been the same. Coach has to go now so do a few of the older players. Well done Irelend, you deserved to win.
Guest Jargre- Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 roland m8..your such an non believer ;D ;D..i remember that you said similar last game ...where wales did come back ;D ;D ;DHe was right though Paul weren't he. Wales only came back last games because of luck, my post above says it all. We need new management and bring in the new boys who play brilliant week in week out. This rubbish of games for favourites is just not working any more. :'( :'( :'(
Roland Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 I think the realism must soon set in, that Wales are as good now as they have been, but can't improve. Ireland are stronger most seasons. Likewise look at the improvement in Both England and France. Again both are relevantly new mould sides that need a spot of gelling. Think both personally will be forces in the next world cup. Yes they will like every side need breaks and the run of the ball. The odd bad decision that favours them. Of course, this goes without saying. The main difference after the pror world cup England changed slowly. After the last one, they had to revert back to a biut more expierence, yet have fielded younger players with a view of building on them. This was where Wales etc. shpne through. In the change over period. I think to ome extent that that has been their down fall as they have tried to improve, but the team is as good as it will ever be. New blood is needed. A driving force, a nd a couple of innnovative players that can A. turn the game at the drop of the hat, and bemarshal the troops into a tight fit. Some play today was ubelieveable. No cordination etc. Just 15 men - mostly - giving their all.
Roland Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 well their 3 points in front roland, early days yet Well one swallow doesn't mke a summer. And both England and france are programming their squads for the worl cup.
just ask me Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 wales line out was the worst Ive seen in this grade of ruby how can a team lose so many line outs with a man of 6 foot 9 inches unbelievable really :-/

This rubbish of games for favourites is just not working any more. :'( :'( :'( no he wasnt right...he said 16pts it was 15 pts ;D ;D ;D wales are rubbish this year but to say they came back each game with luck i slightly disagree...i think they realised that they have to try harder and the teams in front relaxed their grip on the games thinking it was too easy...inconsistancy in the 1st 40 mins in games have crucified wales. but i do fully agree with you that wales need youth to come in and stop playing the golden OLDIES . that lad fish looks a good prospect ..watched the game on friday night against ireland under 20,s. it seems to me that the senior team lack motivation and they seem clueless at times.
Roland Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Need of a inspirational player I guess --- like we all do. I think Care may be one for us. Gosh just when does the World Cup start!
Roland Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Paul where are your Cliff Morgans, the Gareth Edwards, Barry John and JPR Williams.. Infact John Williamson, several Williamson in fact! Or even a Clive John that was a great that never got the cances becuase of the 'King' Barry John etc. etc. These were great and inspirational players. Wales have had their shae aqnd that's for sure. But if your honest there isn't any of the player in the same irk now. Mind, not many worldwide I like Gareth. Generally regarded as the best rugby player of all time... though he said Sid Going the all Black just edged him in their 7 meetings.. :-/
