Hi, I wondered if anyone on this site has any views on the advisability of racing this coming weekend during the current conditions with problems over Scotland due to volcanic ash expelled from the Icelandic volcano.

mine aren't going by plane so should be ok I'm more bothered at these strong winds :(

No need to apologise mate,but thanks anyway.

My own opinion like oldyellow while there's a low pressure over the Country anything can happen weather wise,I can't remember weather like what we are having in May and I have a few years behind me,good birds can be lost where as in another week the weather might pick up and they could be the birds that would win you a race.

All good birds don't come home.

Horrendous weather up here these past few days, garden plants blackened.. car covered in cement like dust... what's the world coming to? on top of that - footballers hiding from the press and politicians frightened of a couple of penalty points...
