Update On Bird Found Ventnor

Still not able to get close enough to this bird I found 6/05

Its waiting for me to come home in the evening and flying near so I am giving it corn

I bought from the pet shop, Its coming in the mornings too with its friend.

It has a white ring on left leg and a red one on right.

PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO ABOUT THIS POOR LITTLE SOUL

I am beginning to wish I never started feeding it

Update . Have managed to get close enough to read leg ring

Have spoken to Jo Dimmick today who has also been very helpful.

If its a GB ring

 

it will have the year of birth (rings are different colour each year - 2010 was blue )

 

it will have a letter between A & Z

 

and a number consisting of 4 or 5 digits
