Guest stevep Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 problem with young bird 10 weeks old, the wattle is not as white and clean as nest mate, have checked for obstruction / and throat infection, bird is as clean as a whistle, flying out of loft no problem, and also eating well, there just doesn't seam to be any white on the wattle, and its not greasy or dirty, should i worry, or will it sort its self out ??
billt Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 As it appears normal in every other way I wouldn't worry
fletch Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 has it been pecking in the dirt as it may just be dirty, ybs are like small children into mischief if all else is well it is just something trivial that you should just moniter
Guest IB Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 May be copping a feed from one of the other YBs. That can be a reason for a dry, discoloured wattle.
just ask me Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 was thinking the same ib could be any number of things pic always helps
