david Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Is there a pigeon and pet safe rodent poison on the market or has somebody been winding me up? Any in'fo please . DAVID
Guest IB Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Open to being proved wrong, but I don't think there is. I've looked at them in the past and the label warning is usually 'keep pets away from the area'. The one I use for mice is inside the loft and is a plastic tunnel with a compartment going off it in the middle, and the poison is in the compartment, out of reach of the pigeons - but they still don't have access to the area it's in though.
just ask me Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 i dont think so mate but you should find something to suit your needs here http://www.solwayfeeders.com/categories/vermin-control-c183.html
Ian McKay Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Come in past David I will show you how it's done and safe Ian
Roland Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Poison means they will got to ground and rot.... stinking the place out. Mind I used to sprinmle cement on porridge oats and leave in pipes. Rats and mice won't go past a pipe hole. Birds can't get at the poison of course. Think I'd leave the 'Glue Paper' out at night with a brick on edges to wieght it down ... a little peanut butter dropped in the middle. Good luck.... they have to be got shot of for the birds will suffer bad, not least picking up their droppings. Country Stores - google it - are sublime with help and ideas. Give them a ring, or Email.

gd Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 Eradibait non poisonous to other mammals , just targets rodents....trouble is I think the mice don't find it too palatable either, saying that its been a long tome since I actually seen one around my loft.
