I would like to get some software, that crucially can remove the background from a picture of a (surprise, surprise), pigeon,, and replace it with another background. All the good pigeon photos these days seem to be of this type, commonly with a lightning festooned sky or similar. Who can recommend a suitable software package? The best suggestion will be assured of a Thank You very much post from me!!

Guest slugmonkey Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Most decent camers come with some sort of photo editing software I bought a cannon digital rebel ( excellent camera ) and it had a full package I also own a olympus f-300 and it came with a full package as well it was around 200 dollars aand it is a 12 megapixel camera
PigeonDesigner Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 I would highly recommend GIMP if you want a free photo editing system. http://www.gimp.org/ It does most of what photoshop can do, but the nice thing is that it is free. I know I am 1month late on this thread, but if you are still looking then GIMP is the way to go Rob
stephen steyert Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 great i will give it a try ouy later
