Guest spin cycle Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 any pro decorators on here?? question i have is this......today i was coating some new plaster with 10 - 1 water pva. it did a good job but the best thing was there were no drips off brush or anywhere...what i'm wondering is can i put a little pva in with the emulsion paint to stop that dripping??
grizzal Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 never done it,can i ask did it soak into the plaster ok, as we use half paint and halfwater mixed to get it into the plaster.the last thing you want is it sitting on the top of the plaster .have never put in paint.
b.massey Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 You should know if it soaked into plaster correctly as it leaves a shine. Thats what your after. Never tried it in paint and would not advice on it either
