....... and you couldn't face your greasy breakfast this morning either :emoticon-0136-giggle::emoticon-0136-giggle::emoticon-0136-giggle: Good to meet you John and the other members.

I enjoyed Blackpool, but I have to agree, the venue is past it's 'sell by date', but I doubt if you would get the same buzz if it went elsewhere. Blackpool has a certain nostalgia and social charisma about it that I have never witnessed at any other show in over 50 years of attending the big pigeon shows. For me Blackpool is more the pigeon fanciers social weekend, rather than a pigeon show - long may it continue. JMHO

I was in arena bar for 1pm Sat too - there was no 'meeting point' banners or signs for pigeonbasics members to gather at - there was nobody there that I can say I recognised either. I was standing by the entrance talking with 2 of my club members.

myself and fifer were there from 1230 till 1.30, talking to members, we were situated at the big pillar at the entrance to the bar, where we always meet, sorry for those who missed the meet uphttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif
