i remember the thread last year.....thing is 'feather merchants' need punters...so why do people buy from them :emoticon-0179-headbang: alot is said about controlling disease in pigeons but one of the first rules in stock is minimise new introductions... lots of fanciers run round with the disinfectant during the week then go buy pigeons from anywhere at the weekend and undo ( or worse) everything they've tried to do :emoticon-0179-headbang: if you do buy pigeons from a source you don't know at least isolate for a while once home

I for one seen the birds and the condition they were sitting in but people still bought them nevertheless. The only way to stop it is for people not to buy them. There were also pigeons on the stall with no rings and others with the numbers filed off!

the man was British and he had all sorts of pigeons in big crates show racers, white racers, fantails and mags i think. i remember some one saying that he was rude to a lady when she complained about the pigeons having no water,so hardly a gentleman i think !

Deff D & T Lofts!

If all members report him to the RPRA when they have checked his stall out they will have to do something!

If that was the stall up the stairs on the right hand side as you went in did he no get them of the top o the tower the night before :emoticon-0136-giggle:

It did Archie, with all due respects. I also wrote to the RPRA after the show, and the reply I got was "it was looked into at the show by RPRA officials, and they would be investigating it further before the 2011 show". The proof of the pudding will be in the eating, let's see if he is there again this year and if he is, will there be any improvement in the way he conducts his business and management at the show. :emoticon-0138-thinking:

you would think this would be a normal procedure to have RPRA Officials checking that all stalls are up to standards,

Hope he is there. A few sneaky photo's of his stand wouldn't go amiss on the 'sites' and in the BHW :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking:

RPRA will do what they normally do,NOTHING, they take our monies, pay us lip service and carry on regardless.
