THE FIFER Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I think that one of the most overlooked aspects of the pigeon sport (BY SOME) are the winter months, with reference to keeping it open, with events, shows, presentations, etc, club and FED shows during the winter months used to be part of the sport of "racing" pigeons but has fallen away,

Guest Glen Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I think too many fanciers molly coddle birds. Don,t get me wrong,I love my pigeons, but their bred to perform, and I expect it. If they don,t , they have no business on a perch and certainly not in the stock loft. Too many club members have poor results with mediocre pigeons and keep breeding the same.I can,t see the logic behind caring and feeding them.JMO.
Tony C Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Dont keep more pigeons than you can handle Dont put pigeons before family
