DOVEScot Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 I had a telephone call from someone that said they were from Microsoft saying they were calling regards all my error reports, they talked me through a few tasks then I hit a point where it would not work so they asked my permission for a technical expert to take over my computer and fix it. They were on the phone explaining and I could see what they were doingAll was going well till they accessed my personal details like bank and credit card so I switched it off immediately and asked him what he was up to, he said it was a mistake my argument was hes was a supposedly a technical expert so I told him to fook off and I reset my computer in case they had installed any programme that would access my detailsMaybe it was a mistake by them but I ain't taking no chances and maybe some experts on the site may shed some light but I have now lost all my contacts so can all those that keep in touch through email please send me oneThanks Dovescot
JohnQuinn Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 I'd phone the Police for them, did you get the phone number they contacted you from? If so pass it on to them.
