advice on new perches sizes

CHAIRDE (FRIENDS)

as you all know we have fantails purely for fun and enjoyment

but im going to make new perces

first photo of what we have now about 7" deep 12" high and 12" width

second photo of what im going to build

could someone help with advice on the hight depth and width of the individual departments

Micko I make my box perchs 12 w x12 h x 12 d  , you can fit a nestbowl in to them if you need to, also you can put a grill  in them to keep the birds clean, If I was keeping fantails Id make them bigger so the tails wouldnt get damaged.  bandit

This seems like good advice given the fantails tails are different to other pigeons.

12 inches deep sounds about right, i do this with the young bird loft , so as you approach the pigeons they back into the box instead of flying towards you out of the way, a great way of taming pigeons , tried and tested
