Having been around a few lofts, talking to fellow fanciers, and through attending pigeon quiz nights, over the years I have heard of many different TITBITS fanciers give their birds, ie; peanuts, budgie seed, conditioner seed, linseed etc.

What if any do you give your birds? and why?

Thank Youhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

Mine love brown bread,it is something my late father use to give the birds ,it was his theory that if the birds had a bad water race and were out,if they got chance of a piece of bread it might help them get home.

I buy Warburtons Wholegrain, only bread worth buying IMO.

The birds get the two end crusts.

They get peanuts during the racing season.

They also get Black Rape, especially the young birds.
