Guest bakes Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 would this netting be any good for the darkness young birds i was thinking the same thing bernie like already said if doubled would of thought it would cut a good bit more light getting into loft all the best.
demolition man Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 i was thinking the same thing bernie like already said if doubled would of thought it would cut a good bit more light getting into loft all the best. i will give it a go if it lets air in and light out will be great stuff
Guest IB Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 Sorry that you are having trouble Bakes. It sounds to me that you are caught in a vicious cycle with you & your neighbours properties part of an established feeding ground & feeding pattern for one or more sparrowhawks. Need to break that cycle somehow, and for me the bird table(s) would be the first to go, I'm sure neighbours will agree there's no point attracting wildbirds for a meal so they can become a meal themselves. All the best. Ian
greenlands Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 Great for getting rid of magpies ??Loops of heavy fishing line attatched to the cage so when maggies get inquisitive they are easy to catch and the next time you're a few mile away from home they can be liberated.

p charlton Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 Hi Lindsay, agree they seem to work 'only' in some cases. I'd to take the 4th one that I had facing the loft back down, the light dancing over the ground towards the loft frightened the pigeons. its no good doubled still lets light in plus it dont keep all water out some still gets though it
