Geraint Parry Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 Hi, has the RPRA passed the use of thimbleless T3 / T2 clocks? Some members up here are saying they haven't , yet on linell's site they say it was passed at the october Clock, Ring, Weather Forecast and Liberation Site Committee meeting. Any ideas ???? Thanks
OLDYELLOW Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 no idea but they also want the rubber rule changing as can clock as many birds as your pad allows up to 6 bird fields so surely this rule should be changed also
tskyes Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 THEY MUST HAVE PASSED IT AS COMPANYS ARE ADVERTISING THE CONVERSION INTO THIMBLELESS
Chairman Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 Pick up the phone and ring you region secretary's that is what we pay them for, another farcisle promotion by the men in black and new general dogsbody. This Fact should have been sent to every member of the RPRA and advertised in the weekly press and threads put on the best chat sites. On reading the adverts from the clock repairers they can also convert STB's too. Now then thats put a spanner in the works OLD YELLOW is bang on the button stating the rules will also have to be changed also, as I see it you SHOULD be able to put as many rubbers as you wish into 1 chamber?? Are we going to learn once again members of the council and the self appointed rules commitee have made another cockup?
newbold Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 yes they have past it on t3s but not stb s alot of members in my club pertchest some of them from doncaster
shotgun tim Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 you dont need a conversion for a stb or benzing because the drum is on the top of the clock, you only need them on the t3 because the drum turns upside down
Guest Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 what is the conversion do i think it allows you to time without the thimble how though?

Guest spin cycle Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 you dont need a conversion for a stb or benzing because the drum is on the top of the clock, you only need them on the t3 because the drum turns upside down this occured to me...but then i asumed there must have been problems with jamming....but if this wasn't the case why did thet have thimbles in the first place?
