coloured birds race just as well as others if there is an equal number of them, if you only had one mealy in a loft of blues it is unlikely that it will be there at the end of the season.

I breed yellows that have done very well in the basket,in their pedigrees are an RPRA car winner, we've also crossed in blood from Mike Staddon's grizzles (his racing pedigree speaks for itself) that have resulted in Yellow grizzles. Needless to say my yellow grizzles will NOT be going in the basket lol x
