Guest Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 what does it do to improve the birds ? its a secret,(evil)
REDCHEQHEN Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 the horse stuff is alot dearer though I agree - I have noticed people advocating the use of horse products - and it all seems a lot more expensive - including the Cod Liver oil I don't understand where the comparison comes in
OLDYELLOW Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 oops my mistake i thought the natural was a 100ml need to go and get my eyes tested , if its good enough for horses is good enough for birds http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Echinacea#Medicinal_effects

OLDYELLOW Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 well after i have been using Aviform Ultimate and Origo-stim and i think both not that good i have swapped to this at least its proven and alot cheaper and as for vitamins im just using brewers yeast has everything your birds need i did like the old Aviform on the molasses base much better
Silverdale Lofts Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Used the Aviform then just bought the molasses from the supermarket worked out lot cheaper
OLDYELLOW Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 i still use the mollases suppose to be good for keeping worms at bay dont know if its right but read many years ago that it was used in the past for worms and funnly enough in tests no worms present :-/
mac1 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Report Posted December 8, 2008 how do you give birds mollases on the corn, where in the supermarket will i find it :-/
mac1 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Report Posted December 8, 2008 Black treacle just add to hot water learn something new everyday how much to 5 litres of water mate
REDCHEQHEN Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Molasses is actually quite cheap in Holland and Barrett - just over a pound for a large jar
