Ventilation!!!!

I was thinking today whilst in my loft about the ventilation in there, it has a false mesh ceiling and there are a few down feathers on there which i leave  to see how the ventilation is doing. We have had a lovely day here today with hardly any breeze and the down feathers werent moving for some parts of the day.

My question is alot of fanciers prefer a loft with natural ventilation which makes sense but on days like today where they is hardly any breeze are the birds suffering and would it be better to install electric fans to combat this.

the air is still circulating [if the ventilation is right] just like when theres a wind or  breeze and you open the windows in your living room, both front and back , if you have that :)you will  see  papers etc , blowing,, but when calm, and the same open windows in the living room, no blowing of papers about,, but youll still see any ciggy smoke going out the window,, same with the loft,, the stale air is still going out :)

as long as no bird smell and no smell of amonia should be fine but if you feel you need more get a chimley no mater which way the wind blows they suck the air out ;)

that why extractor fans work a treat they just take air out and if air going out it has to replaced so on days like u are talking about works a treat  ;)
